Halo🌱
I'm Tianqi Xiong, an interaction designer, a witch and a gentle change maker currently studying at Umea Institute of Design.
I am interested in combining technology and art to solve real world issues and integrating design into social innovation :)
📢 RIGHT NOW I am looking for internship starting from Autumn 2024.
#As Designer
My study began in industrial design, which laid foundation of my design philosophy and equipped me with a keen understanding of form, function, and the human experience.
I've been fortunate to leave my mark across diverse fields—both industrial design companies and SaaS industries. Each challenge I've encountered allowed me to deeply understand the power of user experience through the lens of a designer.🎓
I consider my journey as always on the way of learning, where each day presents a fresh opportunity to expand my skill set and push the boundaries of what's possible. And with an unwavering enthusiasm for conquering new challenges, I navigate the ever-changing digital landscape with a blend of precision and whimsy. 🚀

#As Witch
My identity transcends the conventional boundaries of interaction design. I find joy and fulfillment in immersing myself across the broad field of creative disciplines, eagerly experimenting and make it happen.
My artistic attempts span a variety of mediums—from crafting short films to creating illustrations, from artistic makeups to producing handmade artifacts.🌈
Each of these pursuits is a testament to my belief that design is not just a profession, but a way of interacting with the world🌍, discovering its hidden narratives, and adding a bit of beauty wherever possible.

#As Personal
I find inner peace and also tremendous joy in doing several kinds of sports, such as cycling, deadlifting, swimming and climbing. Sports feel like meditation to me, and it provided me a cherished period for self- reflection.
In 2023, I embarked on what seemed like an insurmountable challenge to my former self. Over the period of one and a half months, my friends and I pedaled our way from Yunnan, China, travelling almost 2000 kilometers of mountainous terrain, to reach the heart of Tibet, Lhasa. 🚴
This journey was not just a test of physical endurance, but also a profound journey of self-discovery, which I realised that either physical or mental, one should always be on the way.🏔️
Let's connect and explore how we can make the digital world a little more delightful together!
